History[edit]

Canvaschamp was founded in March 2012 as an online-based photo printing services. The label Canvaschamp was founded by Jainam Shah who is the CEO of the company, Prints and Signs International LL C[1]. Headquartered in USA at first, the printing service was launched only in the US, with customized canvas prints as their sole product. As popularity grew, they started adding other products such as photo books, wall art, and other printable home decor and home accessories. The company was started with only 8 employees.

By 2014, they already had crossed revenue of $1 million and a customer base of at least 100,000 customers. They launched the website in the UK and India by the same year[2]. They also built a new production base in UK for the overflowing USA website online orders with an existing ongoing USA production facility in New York.

In the USA, Canvaschamp faces fierce competition from giants like Shutterfly and PhotoBox, Printvenue (backed by Rocket Internet), VistaPrint, Printland, and Zoomin.

By 2016, they launched other domain websites over other international markets like Australia, Canada, and New Zealand with opening a production house in India as well.

By the end of 2018, Canvaschamp had launched over 200 photo products across the globe and now has a customer base of over a million people with a steady revenue crossing $10 million. The company grew over 100 employees by 2019[3]. They also claim to have shipped over 1 million art prints in UK alone.[4]

Currently, with a revenue of $1.5 million+/mo, they are working on bringing more new products on their websites and also working on launching an app on Canvaschamp.[5]
