Cape Bird Club

The Cape Bird Club is affiliated to BirdLife South Africa[1] and was formed in May 1948.[2]

The club promotes the appreciation, understanding, study and conservation of birds and their habits in the South Western Cape Region of South Africa.

The Cape sugarbird (Promerops cafer) is the club's emblem and Promerops is the name of the Club's magazine[3]
