CapriCon is a steampunk, pop culture and cosplay convention held annually in the Australian city of Rockhampton, Queensland.[1]

The event, organised by Rockhampton Regional Council and Rockhampton Regional Libraries, has been held each April since 2016.[2][3]

More than 3000 people attended the event in 2017.[4]

CapriCon usually consists of celebrity appearances, panel discussions, cosplay competitions, autograph signings, and live music while also catering to children with a KidsCon element.[5]

In 2018, celebrities include Australian actors John Jarratt, Jay Laga'aia and Matt Doran, novelist Traci Harding and cosplay champion I-Artemis-I (Natalie Bottle).[6]

Celebrities appearing at CapriCon in previous years have included Steven O'Donnell.[7]
