'Carcariass..[1] is a death/metal band created in 1991 in France.
History
The band began in 1991 in Besançon. In 1997, Carcariass recorded its first CD, entitled "Hell on earth". This album was produced by the Impact records label. In 1998, the second CD "Sideral Torment" was recorded at Impuls studios in Belgium. Many famous bands and artists have recorded their albums there, such as Gojira, Loudblast and many others. In 2002, the band recorded its third CD “Killing Process” on the Adipocere Records label (which was very famous at that time with, for example, Moonspell, Alastis, Benighted…) produced at LB-LAB with Stéphane Buriez (Loudblast). With this album, Carcariass played many gigs in France and Belgium. In 2009, their fourth album “E-Xtinction” was recorded on Great Dane Records/Season Of Mist Distribution. In 2017, the band played at Hellfest (French music festival)[2] In 2019, Carcariass recorded “Planet Chaos”[3]. This album was recorded and mixed at Downtone Studio in Switzerland by Drop, guitarist of Samael.
