Cardinal tetra

Cardinal Tetras are a freshwater species that can be kept in fairly compact tanks. They grow to about 3 cm in total length. The average size of a fully grown Cardinal Tetra is around two inches. The male fish attain a length of 2.5 cm in the wild but can grow up to 5 cm in a fish tank. In comparison, the females are slightly bigger and wider, with more rounded stomachs.[1][2][3][4]
