Carecircle (stylized in lowercase) is a Swiss healthcare company operating in 158 countries which provides an advertising-free, industry neutral platform to consumers to share stories and experiences about their health journeys, or those they are caring for. Founded in March 2021 [1] in Cham, Switzerland, the company is backed by tech industry veterans such as Karl-Heinz Flöther [2] [3] who serves on the board, and Pearl Street investors [4], and brought its first product [5] [6] to market in December 2021 [7] [6], with a social media platform purpose built for healthcare which is globally scalable and is built entirely on Microsoft Azure as announced [8] by Tom McGuiness, Microsoft's global head of healthcare and pharma on 12th May 2022. Carecircle is part of the Microsoft for Startups program and has partnered with the ETH Zurich on research in digital healthcare.
