Carin Isobe (礒部 花凜 Carin Isobe, born 26 May 1994) is a Japanese actress, singer, and voice actress affiliated with Amuse Inc..[1] She is best known for singing the opening song of Go! Princess PreCure, the twelfth installment in Izumi Todo's Pretty Cure franchise. She also voiced Mio Natsume in Just Because! and is set to voice Mii in Interspecies Reviewers.
Biography[edit]
Carin Isobe was born on 26 May 1994 in Nara Prefecture[1] and was educated at Osaka University of Arts School of Theatre.[2] She was selected as the Nara representative for Miss Universe Japan in 2014.[3]
She was the singer of the opening song of Go! Princess PreCure; the theme song single charted at 22 on 16 March 2015.[4]
In July 2017, Isobe was cast as Mio Natsume in Just Because!.[5] She and her co-stars Lynn and Yuna Yoshino sang the opening and ending songs; the single charted at #66 at Oricon on 4 December 2017.[6]
She played Anna Kushina in the stage adaptation of K, K: Missing Kings.[7]
