The Reverend Carl A. Volz (1933–1998) was a American historian and author of several books on the history of Christianity.[1]
Biography
He was born in 1933 in Faribault, Minnesota.[2][3]
He was married to Lydia Volz and had five children and eight grandchildren.[4]
He died in 1998.[2]
Education
He completed his master's degrees at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, and Washington University, St. Louis.[4]
He completed at Fordham University in 1966.[3]
Career
He served as a professor of church history at St. Paul’s Lutheran Seminary in Minnesota.[5][4]
He was ordained as a priest of the Lutheran Church of Missouri in 1959.[3]
