Carl Hosticka is an American politician who served as a state legislator and metro counselor in Oregon. He represented Lane County in the legislature for 11 years and served as a metro counselor for 11 years.[1] He is currently an Associate Professor Emeritus of Public Policy at the University of Oregon.[2] In 2012, he ran against Republican Julie Parrish to represent the 37th district, which includes Tualatin and West Linn, in the legislature and lost.[3][4]
