Carli Bybel (born on October 17, 1990 [age 31]) is a makeup, beauty, fashion, and fitness guru from New Jersey. As of May 2018, her channel has over 559,110,980 views and 6 million subscribers. Carli Bybel is one of the most sought after youtubers of the contemporary times. She is a beauty icon and a sensational internet persona. She publishes videos to her two channels CarliBel55 and InnerBeautyBybel. She also runs a highly successful blog called The Fashion Bybel.

Carli Bybel was born on October 17, 1990 in Morganville, New Jersey to Jody and was the second child of her parents. She, along with her parents and older sister, lived in a small one-bedroom apartment when she was a toddler. They eventually moved into a much bigger house in Howell, New Jersey after her father’s glass business become a huge success; she recalls having a swimming pool, a trampoline, and a built-in movie theater.[1]
Growing up, her passions involved horses and tending to her family’s horse ranch. Despite the fact that she was allergic to horses, she and her dad would go trail riding on the weekends. During her high school years, she was a cheerleader. She also got her first job on her 16th birthday working at Starbucks. She worked there for 3 year
During the end of her junior year, her parents began fighting drastically. She recalls being pressured by her mom and feeling completely separated from her dad at the time. The couple divorced soon thereafter, with her father moving to Florida with his a girlfriend.
She graduated high school in 2009.[2]

She began a relationship with fitness guru and fellow YouTuber Brett Cap in 2013; however, they later broke up in 2017.
Career[edit]
At the end of her junior year, Bybel discovered her love for beauty and makeup. She started her own business, doing freelance hair and makeup, helping her think less about her family issues and the rumors spread about her at school. It was easy for her to get customers because she knew a lot of cheerleaders who liked how she did her own makeup. Later on, she realized that she wanted to become a makeup artist and one of her friends suggested to create a YouTube channel.
After graduating in 2009, she got her first official makeup job doing for a photography studio at a mall. She quit within a few months, as she did not appreciate the way her boss treated her and her co-workers.
While she was searching for other opportunities, she continued her freelance makeup work and started a job at a golf course to help pay for bills. After she quit, she decided to live with her dad in Florida. After two weeks, she went back to New Jersey. As financial difficulties started to pile up in her family, she began freelancing as a makeup artist, with a payment of $25 per client while pursuing her business degree. She worked in a photography studio as a hair and makeup artist, but didn’t earn sufficiently and hence she turned towards YouTube. In 2011, she uploaded her first video ‘Curl your hair with a straightener – Tutorial.’ Within 4 weeks of uploading the video, she received around 1000 subscribers.

One night in October 2010, Carli ran into someone from her high school named Samantha Morales at a New York City club. They eventually became really good friends and started hanging out frequently.
In August 2011, after having conversations about what they wanted to do with their lives, they both decided they wanted to run YouTube channels; Carli became an online makeup artist and Sam became a DJ.
After uploading videos on the platform and spreading her name on social media, she starting gaining more attraction and getting appointments regularly from returning customers.
Sometime around March 2012, she reached the 100,000 subscriber milestone. It was at that point when she considered herself to be a social media influencer and a role model for other people, realizing that she could make a positive impacts on people’s lives by helping them feel better on the inside through outward appearance.

In 2017, Carli Bybel started working at Pranava Beauty. As the CEO of the platform, she plans on using it to share vegan, cruelty-free products that she loves and has personally created for her fans.

On October 17, 2017, her 27th birthday, Bybel launched her CarliBybelxMissguided collection.
WAH Foundation[edit]
Carli Bybel has been named Global Ambassador for the WAH Foundation. Carli will use her voice to encourage girls across the globe to fulfill their dream of receiving an advanced education. Using the proceeds from her charity bracelets, she is providing a full scholarship at the Bright Hope Institute in Cambodia.
