Carneros is a former settlement in Napa County, California.[1] It lay at an elevation of 7 feet (2 m).[1] Carneros was located on the Southern Pacific Railroad, 4.5 miles (7.2 km) northwest of Napa Junction.[2]
Carneros was named for the Rancho Rincon de los Carneros.[2] A post office functioned at Carneros from 1867 to 1868.[2]
