Carolina Country magazine is a monthly publication produced on behalf of North Carolina’s electric cooperatives, reaching more than 710,000 subscribers and 2.1 million readers.[1] Carolina Country’s circulation is currently audited by the Alliance for Audited Media.[2]

History

The publication was founded in 1946 as Carolina Farmer to assist the state’s electric cooperative utilities in communicating with members. In 1996, carolinacountry.com was launched as a means for readers to access content online. Social media channels were also added, with the publication now having a presence on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and YouTube.
