Caroline Rose Kaplan
Caroline Rose Kaplan is an American stage and television actress known for her role as Janel Ramsey in the TNT drama Proof..[1]
Life and Career[edit]
Kaplan was born in Larchmont, NY. She is the daughter of the late New York Observer editor Peter W. Kaplan and the niece of novelist and biographer James Kaplan[2]. She earned an MFA from Brown University[3].
In Proof, Kaplan played Janel Ramsey, the assistant to Ivan Turing, played by Matthew Modine. Kaplan portrayed Nadia in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike[4], and Emily in Ayad Akhtar's Disgraced at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis[5]. In 2017, Kaplan played guest roles on Bull[6] and NCIS: New Orleans[7]
