Carrie Slatton-Hodges is an American Licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Oklahoma. Slatton-Hodges was appointed Interim Commissioner of the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) in January 2020[1] by Governor Kevin Stitt. Prior to this role, Slatton-Hodges served twelve years as the Deputy Commissioner for ODMHSAS, overseeing treatment and recovery services[2] through state-operated and contracted treatment providers. In this role, Slatton-Hodges managed budgets, oversaw contracts, developed programs, expanded partnerships and integrated evidence-based practices across Oklahoma.

Slatton-Hodges obtained a bachelor's degree from Southern Nazarene University and a master's degree in Applied Psychology from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Her 29 years' experience as an LPC included holding a variety of clinical and administrative positions in both the public and private sectors, managing behavioral health services in rural and urban settings, including the role of Chief operating officer at Oklahoma’s largest Community Mental Health Center.

Slatton-Hodges' platform focuses on the delivery of treatment services through innovative programs[3], including mobile care and telehealth services. This includes implementing Urgent Behavioral Health Care Centers and Comprehensive Community Addiction Recovery Centers across Oklahoma.
