Case Notes (radio show)

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Case Notes is a weekly half-hour radio programme on topics in medicine started by Graham Easton.[1] It is broadcast on BBC Radio 4. A different illness is covered from a variety of perspectives in each programme. Dr Mark Porter is the current presenter.

It looks at medicine in general and recent medical advances. The programme takes its name from case notes, another name for medical records, the formal documentation written by medics and paramedics. There is a podcast and a programme audio and transcript archive dating back to January 2004.

Porter took over as host from Graham Easton, who left the programme to write for the BMJ; however, he presents the show when Mark Porter is unavailable.

Among the medical conditions featured are: ADHD[2] and high blood pressure[3],
