Casey MacGill is an American musician. A versatile multi-instrumental jazz musician and singer,.[1] originally from the Los Angeles area, now residing in Tacoma, Washington. An innovator in jazz ukulele,[2] Casey has toured extensively and been widely celebrated in the music industry and media, for example as a composer, arranger, and performer in the musical 'Swing!Swing!'[3]
Having been active since youth, Casey has recorded and produced multiple highly acclaimed records,[4] and, managed and led combos and big bands in the Pacific Northwest and elsewhere. Casey's live performances, now spanning decades, have been noted for deftness, focus on tradition, and, and attracting jazz practitioners across the US and beyond.[5] Since streaming and YouTube came on the scene, Casey's viewership and listenership has grown into the hundreds of thousands.[6]
