Casey Martin (Football)
Casey Martin (born September 29, 1992) was an American college football wide receiver and is currently a retired CFL player.

2011 (Freshman, Houston): Named to the 2011-12 Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll ... Did not compete during the season, taking a redshirt.
2012 (Redshirt Freshman, Houston): Named to the 2012-13 Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll ... Played in three games as a reserve wide receiver ... had three receptions for 13 yards at UCLA ... also pulled in a catch for seven yards against UAB.

Professional Career
Before the 2016 NFL draft Casey Martin went viral as the "Next Wes Welker".[1]. After much hype, Casey Martin went undrafted and signed with the CFL Ottawa Redblacks.[2] Before the 2016 rookie camp started, Martin retired because of a “personal issue.”[3]
