Cash Liberty Records is an American independent record label that was founded in 2023 by Jordan Roberts, Liam McGonagle and Tyrone "T Black" Billips. It was founded in partnership between T Black's Independence Records and Demonie Media Group. In 2023, Jordan Roberts started the label under the name "Demonie Records" due to the fact Demonie Media Group owned and managed 50 percent of the imprint. In May 2023, Demonie Media Group sold its remaining stake to Jordan Roberts, Liam McGonagle and Independence Records, who then rebranded it as Cash Liberty Records.
In September 2022, Jordan released two singles under his "Above Average Mixtape" (Above Average, Opportunities). These two tracks were the label's first tracks, and after the first week, the two singles combined sold 10,000 copies.
In December 2022, after releasing 5 tracks, founder Jordan decided to start his own imprint label with the assistance of Independence Records and Demonie Media Group.
In March 2023, Jordan signed Philly rapper and long-time friend Liam McGonagle (LMagik) to the label as its second act. LMagik released a debut mixtape which has since been dropped due to low stream rates. During this month, they released a collaboration track and started working on individual albums and tracks. In April 2023, word spread that Demonie Media wanted to sell its stake to Jordan Roberts and Liam McGonagle since it was bringing in "Low Profit." As of May 1st, Demonie Media sold its stake, and with the help of Independence Records, Demonie Records rebranded as Cash Liberty Records with Independence Records being the parent company and Republic Records being the main distributor.
As of June 2023, Jordan and LMagik are currently working on a collaboration album which is set to release August 2023. In June, CLR also started releasing official AI covers of songs which became an immediate success regarding the release of "Squidward Tentacles - I Wonder (AI Cover)".
