Cashineh is an Iranian cashback website headquartered in Tehran,Iran. Cashineh' revenue comes from affiliate network links. Cashineh counts as the first affiliate marketing website.[1] who pays people shop online
It was founded in December 2017[2] by a brother and sister Amir and Sahar Salarifard who were very active in E-commerce and digital marketing and helped many start-ups succeed in Iran by guiding them and having consultation sessions with them.
Growth[edit]
Iran's online shopping market has been growing[3] over the past few years and it required the needs for an affiliate marketing program who encourage people to shop their day-to-day needs online[4]. Cashineh negotiates with online shopping sites and reach an agreement in which they pay cashback percentage to users acquired from Cashineh's website. Cashineh keeps small portion of that cash and gives back the majority of it to the users[5]. in a short period of time Cashineh has became very popular between online shoppers, which is why the it's Alexa ranking came down from 70,000 to 4,300 rapidly. in addition to the cashback users will find out about any promo code a particular store has, people will find different discounts, promo codes, and cashback altogether in one website[6]. Sahar Salarifard said purpose of Cashineh is to become a complementary website for anyone who shops online[7]. She also clarified that "the main focus of the company has been on expansion even if that means we will not be profitable"[8]
