"Cassandra" is a song recorded by Swedish pop group ABBA, released in October 1982.
Analysis[edit]
The song, "Cassandra" is based on the story of the mythical princess of Troy, Cassandra. The lyric "Pity, Cassandra, that no one believed you" is a reference to her mythical ability to see the future, coming with the curse of not being believed. [1]
