Leslie Cassidy Powell (born June 24, 1992), known by his stage name Cassidy the Patriot, (shortened as The Patriot), is a Jamaican mixed Guyanese record producer. Cassidy began his career under the alias Patriot in 2012.[1]
Early life[edit]
Born in the city of Montreal, Quebec Canada, Cassidy's early life began with playing basketball until an injury left him sidelined. In result, this injury led him to beat making and producing records.[1] Being a student at the same time producer, Cassidy currently studies at Concordia University in Montreal.[2]
Career[edit]
The Jamaican-Guyanese producer has a very unique style when it comes to producing music. With beats that have an electronic rhythm mashed together with dark, club shaking 808 baselines. With this combo, it leaves the listener mesmerized and asking for more.[2]
