Cassius Lambert
Biography:
Cassius Lambert (Pelle Cassius Lambert Lindsjö), was born in Malmö, Sweden, on February 29, 1996. Cassius Lambert is a bass player, composer, producer, and owner of the record label Kaprifol Records.
At the age of 3, he moved to the small fishing village Abbekås, on the south coast of Sweden. He started to play the bass at the age of 11 after a severe soccer game accident where he became dependent on a wheelchair for months, and thus started to play the bass out of boredom. At the age of 17 he released his first solo EP, Orangeri, through his own record label Kaprifol Records. In 2015, he released his first full-length album, Quote. His international breakthrough came with his second album, Symmetri, which was released through Laborie Jazz.
Apart from composing music for his own projects, he has also composed music for theatrical productions, movies, and for symphonic orchestras.
Studies:
He has studied music at Nya Malmö Latin, Skurups folkhögskola, and he will soon have a Bachelor of Arts from the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen, Denmark.
He is also a member of the groups CB3, Tarraband, The Wild Sirens, and Takykardia.
