Richard James Castro (born August 12), better known by his stage name Castro, is an American singer and songwriter from Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2007, he was previously signed to Polow Da Don on Interscope Records creating singles "Lost In Love[1]"[2] and "Soulja Girl" with Soulja Boy. Formally part of the R&B group he co-founded, I-15,[3] Castro has since branched off and is currently working on his solo project with GRAMMY Award winning producers The Audibles (Lupe Fiasco, Lloyd) and singer/songwriter Poo Bear. (Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey, Chris Brown). His songwriting credits include writing songs for artists’ like Bobby Valentino and Joe, Castro is set to release his new solo album out in 2015 on new label, Platinum Music Group.
