Cat Smiley
Cat Smiley is a Canadian fitness expert, nutritionist, hiking guide, life coach and business owner. Smiley was named Canadas Top Trainer three times[1] by the International Sports Science Association and Whistlers 'best coach'[2] in 2012. She is a former member of the New Zealand Freestyle Ski Team[3] competing in World Cups[4], and was an X-Games Medalist[5]. Reality television series Whistler Stories featured her in 8 episodes on Slice (TV Channel).
Early Life
Smiley was born on June 21, 1974[6] and was raised in New Zealand. She immigrated to Whistler, Canada in 1997[7] to pursue a career in skiing. She completed her personal training certificate in 2001.[1] That led her to be one of the 12 finalists for the role of personal trainer on the hit TV show "The Biggest Loser."[1] Cat Smiley created an intensive boot camp program aimed at super-obese[8] inspired by get-fit TV shows like The Biggest Loser.[9] Smiley created a fitness boot camp named The Original Boot Camp, which won Whistler's 'best health trend.'[10]

Her company, Smiley Fitness Retreats Inc, has been awarded in the top fitness retreats globally[11] and Canada.[12] She is a featured expert for the American Councel of Exercise (ACE).[13] and IDEA Health & Fitness Association[14] and has facilitated boot camps with conferences including Gay Pride.[15]
