Category:Food templates

This is a maintenance category. It is used for maintenance of the Wikipedia project and is not part of the encyclopedia. It contains pages that are not articles, or it groups articles by status rather than subject. Do not include this category in content categories. This is a container category. Due to its scope, it should only contain subcategories.

Pages in this category should be moved to subcategories where applicable. This category may require frequent maintenance to avoid becoming too large. It should directly contain very few, if any, pages and should mainly contain subcategories.

Templates relating to food. This is a list of templates used to organize the various food related articles, projects and portals. The pages listed in this category are templates. This page is part of Wikipedia's administration and not part of the encyclopedia. Further template category notes This category contains pages in the template namespace. It should not be used to categorize articles or pages in other namespaces. To add a template to this category: If the template has a separate documentation page (usually called "Template:template name/doc"), add  [[Category:Food templates]] to the <includeonly> section at the bottom of that page. Otherwise, add  <noinclude>[[Category:Food templates]]</noinclude> to the end of the template code, making sure it starts on the same line as the code's last character.

• By food family
• By template type
• By project or task force

While this lists most of the food-related templates in use on Wikipedia, it is by no means all-inclusive. There are some templates that have not been categorized and will still need to be.
