Catherine Naglestad
Catherine Naglestad (born November 7, 1965, in Santa Clara, California)[1] is an American soprano. Daughter of Scandinavian parents, she grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area.[2]
Naglestad earned her Bachelor of Music from the San Francisco Conservatory, advancing her studies in Rome, Milan, and New York. She has performed leading roles in renowned opera houses and concert halls worldwide, including the Royal Opera House in London, Paris Opéra Bastille, Berlin State Opera, and Suntory Hall in Tokyo. She is particularly acclaimed for her portrayals of Norma and Alceste.
