Cato Hoeben is a film composer who composed his first feature Exteriors in 2011 and has assisted composer Theo Green on a number of other films such as Blue Moon and House at the End of the Street. Exteriors was announced as in competition as part of Raindance Film Festival in 2011.
He’s composed for a range of award-winning short films including Love at First Sight (Short film) which was nominated for awards at Palm Springs International ShortFest, Feel Good Festival in LA and other festivals like the Cyprus International Film Festival and has now amassed 45 international wins.
In 2008 Cato scored Wildscreen Festival BBC Newcomer (Panda) Award winner White Wood by director Lou Astbury and went on to score Hudson’s Monarch by filmmaker Mat Thompson in 2010 which won the same award.
