Caulkdraggin
Ryan McGee (born March 29, 1985), known professionally as Caulkdraggin, is an American horror filmmaker and online video creator based in Mount Airy, North Carolina.[1][2] He gained recognition through short-form horror videos before moving into independent narrative short films.[1][3]
Career
McGee began publishing short-form horror videos on TikTok under the name Caulkdraggin. His work uses handheld, found-footage presentation, ordinary locations and creature-horror themes.[3] By August 2026, his videos had accumulated more than 70 million views.[1]
In 2026, McGee began focusing on longer narrative projects. His short horror film Skinwalker Island: The Lost Tapes was selected by the Lift-Off Global Network to compete in its Trailblazers category.[1]
In September 2026, CineDump reviewed McGee's short psychological horror film Daphne. Critic Jessie Hobson discussed the film's use of ordinary locations, found-footage perspective and practical and digital effects, and described it as a progression from McGee's earlier viral horror work toward narrative filmmaking.[3]
