Cavan Cohoes

Cavan Cohoes is a former professional baseball shortstop and Centerfielder for the Seattle Mariners and Philadelphia Phillies. He was drafted by the Mariners in the ninth round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft, out of Patch High School in Stuttgart Germany.[1] [2]

Cohoes was drafted out of high school in the ninth round by the Mariners, making him the highest drafted player from Europe. His 40 yard dash time of 4.33 seconds, would have been one of the fastest times at the NFL combine that year. He was assigned to the AZL Mariners for the 2012 season after participating in Spring Training.[2][3] [4]

Cohoes signed a 5 year contract and received a 1.3 million dollar signing bonus (650,000 Gauranteed)[5] [6]

In 2014, Cohoes signed a 1 year contract with the Philadelphia Phillies, before his season was ended due to injury.[7]
