Caydin Martin
Caydin Edward Martin (born 6th May 2010 is a Scottish Junior[1] Speedway Rider who rides for the Berwick Bandits Academy in the Northern Junior League and competes in the British Youth Championship[2].
Career
Juniors
Born in Kirkcaldy, Caydin first rode in 2017 at the home of The Glasgow Tigers on a 50cc KTM, after spending 2017 riding in second halfs around the UK he moved up to ride 125cc engines in Junior Frames. In 2018 Caydin was given his first opportunity to ride when Colin Mackie the former manger of Conference League Team Linlithgow Lightening gave the young 8 year old Martin his first start in the Northern Junior League with the Number 4 race Jacket for the Ashfield Giants.
2019 saw Caydin win the Northern Junior League 4TT with the Giants at Redcar along with teammates George Rothery, Corban Pavitt and Ben Trigger. He then went on to win the 2019 Scunthorpe 125cc Summer Series Support Class.
