Cedric Adegnika (born August 3, 1973) is a French-American individual known for his roles as a doorman and entrepreneur. He has been referred to as 'The Legendary Miami Gatekeeper' by some sources.[1].Notably, he gained recognition as a key figure within the nightlife scene, particularly in Miami, Florida. Adegnika transitioned to the United States from France in 1995 and contributed his services to various esteemed establishments in Miami Beach, including Bar None (owned by Sylvester Stallone), The Living Room, Jimmy'z at The Forge, Mynt, Set, LIV, Story and ManRay in New York City (co-owned by Johnny Depp, Sean Penn, John Malkovich, and Harvey Weinstein) [2]. Over the course of his career, Adegnika interacted with numerous high-profile individuals, occasionally refusing entry to celebrities such as Dennis Rodman and Robert De Niro, thus cultivating a distinct professional reputation. [3]. In 2013, he ventured into entrepreneurship by establishing The Flat, a cocktail lounge that quickly gained popularity. [4]. Despite its success, Adegnika eventually divested from the business to pursue opportunities in Panama City, Panama, where he introduced Lessep's bistro café, the first French bistro in the country. [5]. Following the global pandemic, he returned to Miami and currently collaborates with David Grutman of Groot Hospitaly. [6]
