Search Cell To Singularity - Evolution Never Ends on Amazon.Cell To Singularity: Evolution Never Ends (often shortened to Cell to Singularity) is a free-to-play idle clicker game released on PC, IOS, and Android. Cell to Singularity is about the progression of life on Earth. You click to upgrade biology, technology, and knowledge on an expansive tech tree of evolution. Here you work your way from a unicellular organism to a human and beyond.[1][2] Released on Steam on December 12th, 2018, the game is still in development.[3]

Currencies[edit]

Entropy, Ideas, MetaBits, and Darwinium are the four main currencies of the game.

Entropy[edit]

  • You have access to Entropy from the beginning of the game, it is used to buy all generators and upgrades up until you buy the First Thought upgrade.[4]

Ideas[edit]

  • Ideas are unlocked when the First Thought upgrade is purchased, they are used to progress civilizations and the upgrades that come along with them.[5][1]
  • On the first run through the game, you can't proceed past the Singularity. This will crash the simulation and take you to the Reality Engine, the supercomputer that the simulation runs on.[6]

MetaBits[edit]

  • Your cumulative Entropy and Ideas in a single simulation determines the amount of MetaBits you will be given.
  • With said MetaBits, you can buy upgrades to increase simulation speed, click value, and offline production.[7]

Darwinium[edit]

  • Darwinium is gained as a daily reward and for unlocking 250 of a generator.
  • You can use Darwinium to activate boosters without watching an ad.

Generators[edit]

Generators are upgrades used to generate Entropy and Ideas as in-game currency multipliers. These generators come in the form of biological creatures or ages in human history, such as DNA, Fish, Humans, and the Stone Age.[8] Unlocking certain numbers of these generators (such as 1, 50, and 100) can unlock new upgrades to increase their efficiency.[9]

Tech Trees[edit]

Tech Trees are how you progress through the game. These are the gateway to all the upgrades and generators in the game. Each tech tree contains Sub-trees that connect to the generators and upgrades directly.[10] These are comparatively similar to the tech trees found in the Civilization franchise.[9]

Boosters[edit]

Boosters are used to boost currency efficiency for varying periods of time.[11]

Quantum Charge[edit]

  • Quantum Charge gives you a fixed amount of Entropy and Ideas after watching an ad or paying 2 Darwinium.
  • Is not a multiplier.
  • Can be found on every screen.

Boost Accelerator[edit]

  • Boost Accelerator gives you 2x income boost for 4 hours after watching an ad.

Shooting Star[edit]

  • Shooting Star gives you a 30x income boost on your taps for 15 seconds after watching an ad or paying 2 Darwinium.
  • Exclusively found on planet screen.

Fair Autoclicker[edit]

  • Fair Autoclicker automatically clicks for a period of 2 minutes to gain Entropy.
  • Can be activated every 30 minutes.

Achievements[edit]

There are 145 achievements to collect throughout the run of the game. Most of these are unlocked when upgrading generators to a certain number (often 25, 50, 150, and 250). On the achievement for buying 250 of a generator, you'll also receive a one time gift of Darwinium.

Music[edit]

Cell to Singularity uses recordings of classical music, most of which is in the public domain.[12]
