Censorship by Fandom

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Fandom/Wikia and its subsidiary companies, such as Gamepedia, have removed or omitted information from its services in order to comply with company policies, legal demands, and government censorship laws.

Blocking of the word "SJW"[edit]

Around 2018, they marked the term "SJW" as spam and prevented any edits containing the words from being submitted and pages containing the words from being edited until any mentions of "SJW"'s are removed.[1][2]

"Fandom.com" sub-domain change censorship[edit]

When they announced that they will be changing to domains to fandom.com, they attempted to censor criticism by throttling anonymous comments on the blog and deleting messages against FANDOM on that blog as well. The main messages kept are messages of supporters, even if a supporter harasses an opposer.
