Central Division (RHI)

Roller Hockey International’s Central Division was formed in 1994 as part of the Eastern Conference in a league realignment, the predecessor of which was the Murphy Division.

  • Atlanta Fire Ants
  • Chicago Cheetahs
  • Minnesota Arctic Blast
  • New England Stingers
  • Pittsburgh Phantoms
  • St. Louis Vipers

Changes from the 1993 season[edit]

  • The Central Division is formed as a result of RHI expansion and realignment
  • The St. Louis Vipers came from the Murphy Division
  • The Atlanta Fire Ants, Chicago Cheetahs, Minnesota Arctic Blast, New England Stingers, and Pittsburgh Phantoms were added as expansion teams

  • Buffalo Stampede
  • Chicago Cheetahs
  • Detroit Motor City Mustangs
  • Minnesota Blue Ox
  • St. Louis Vipers

  • The Montreal Roadrunners, and Ottawa Loggers came from the Atlantic Division
  • The Minnesota Arctic Blast re-entered the league
