The Centrist Party of Canada is a active federal political party in Canada. [1] The political party is the second-youngest party in Canada. It was founded in the year 2020 by Canadian neurologist, Dr. A.Q. Rana.[2] The political party platform espouses the principles of centrism.[3] The party is committed to having a "balanced approach" to politics.[4] On the Canadian political spectrum, the party sits to the right of the Liberal Party but left of the Conservative Party.

The Centrist party was founded in 2020. Although hey were not formally recognized as a Canadian political party until August 25th, 2021; the same day as the western secession party, the Maverick Party. It was also recognized only one mouth before the 2021 Canadian Federal Election. Although the party is still young it has spoking out on multiple political issues including: denouncing of Quebec's Bill 21,[5] the support of the development of sector energy[6], and denouncing the Canadian convey protest of 2022.
