Cerakote
From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki
Cerakote® describes a proprietary range of ceramic-polymer coatings[1] developed by NIC industries. Cerakote can be applied to a wide range of materials including plastics and metals. The coatings have become popular in the firearms industry because of their resistance to wear, oxidation, and pitting compared to other methods such as blueing or anodizing[2].
