Richard Edward Peralta,[fn 1][1] also known as Chad Peralta or mononymously as Chad,[1] is a Filipino-Australian singer and actor. He was born in Sydney, Australia.[2]
Career
Peralta learned to play classical guitar at the age of twelve. He wrote and composed several songs in Tagalog and English before becoming an information technology consultant.[2]
He appeared on the first season of Pinoy Dream Academy along with Panky Trinidad, Irish Fullerton, Jay-R Siaboc, Ronnie Liang, and Yeng Constantino.[2] After several weeks on the show, he released an album with Nugen Music.[2]
His music falls within the pop rock and alternative pop genre.
