Chak No. 43/G.D. (Punjabi, Urdu: چک نمبر 43 جی ڈی) is a Village in Tehsil & District Okara, Punjab, Pakistan and its postal code is 56301. In 2020, a robber was killed in an encounter[1] along Akbar Road near Chak 43-GD check post. The first information report (FIR) of the encounter, registered on the complaint of SI Muhammad Sarwar, said a patrol team went to raid the proclaimed offenders who were robbing citizens near Chak 42/GD on Akbar-Okara road. They found the road blocked by a tree.

It is situated 20 km from Okara on Bangla gogera road. It is located at coordinates 30.853908, 73.328856[2]

Climate or Weather[edit]

Like other areas of Punjab the summer is very hot and winter is fairly cold. The climate is usually warm and dry. The coldest months are December to February, when temperatures[3] may drop to 3 °C (37 °F), with moderate rainfall. The hottest months are May to July, when temperatures may reach 45 °C (113 °F).
