Chance Mitchell is a Drug-tested Powerlifter from the United States. Chance won the International Powerlifting Federation 2022 World Championships in Sun City, South Africa in his first World Championships appearance. List of world championships medalists in powerlifting (men)
National Records
On 16 October 2021, Mitchell claimed his first American record at the Texas State Championships in the -93kg category in North Richland Hills with a 365.5kg (805lb) Raw Deadlift. This record would later be retired as USA Powerlifting would change their weight classes by the end of 2021.[1] [2]
On 04 April 2022, Mitchell claimed his second American record at the 1st ever Powerlifting America Classic Open Nationals in the -93kg category in Austin, TX, this time with a 383kg (844lb) Raw Deadlift. This lift is the heaviest deadlift ever underneath 93kg (205lbs) bodyweight drug tested.[3] [4]
World Records
En route to his first World Championship win on 10 June 2022, Mitchell clinched a raw World Record deadlift of 373.5kg (823lbs) and a new raw World Record in Total of 878.5kg (1,936lbs).[5] [6] [7]
