Changkuoth Nyak, professionally known as Mha Chang, (born February 16, 1988) is a South Sudanese musician, music producer, vocalist, and songwriter. He holds a bachelor's degree in Information Communication Technology and Computer Science, obtained from Kampala, Uganda, which has informed his versatile career in technology and music.
Before gaining prominence in music, Nyak served as an IT Instructor and registrar assistant at Gambella Teacher Education and Health Science College in Ethiopia, illustrating his commitment to educational development.
He is the founder of Goa ni mal Studio, also referred to as Peace is Better Studio, located in Gambella, Ethiopia. Through this platform, Nyak has supported local artists and contributed to the cultural enrichment of his community.
In 2009, Nyak recorded his debut music album at Keyz Record studio in Juba, South Sudan, under the production of Adella, a notable Congolese music producer recognized across East Africa. His inaugural album featured the hit single "Nyami goaa/Beautiful Girl," followed by successful tracks like "Hello" and "My Queen."
