Jorge Ramirez (born August 16, 1999), known professionally as ChapoBanz, is an American rapper, singer and songwriter from Belleville, Illinois. He is best known for his song "Ever Since", and album titled "Tokyo Love". The album has received over 180,000 plays since its release date on September 13, 2019, some of the tracks has been featured on HotNewHipHop, The Rap Fest, Elevator and more. [1] [2]
Early Life[edit]
Ramirez grew up in Belleville, Illinois and St. Louis. Growing up he listened to artists such as Green Day, Eminem, Lil Wayne, Akon, Bright Eyes (band), and The Killers.He dropped out of Collinsville High School to pursue his musical career.[3]
Career[edit]
ChapoBanz released the song titled "Ever Since" featuring Pluto which accumulated over 200K streams in 2 weeks hitting SoundCloud new hot charts.With the help from No Jumper, that also led to other artists co signing that song such as Lil Uzi Vert, Post Malone, Waka Flocka Flame, Slim Jimmy, Chief Keef, Lil Durk, among others.[4] [5]
