[1][2]Chardonnay Curran (born August 18, 1999) is an American professional soccer player from Ewa Beach, Hawaii. Chardonnay plays for the Kansas City Current in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). She was drafted 17th overall in the second round of the 2022 NWSL Draft by the Current.

Youth Career[edit]
Chardonnay played 8 seasons for the Hawaii Rush club team, earning distinction as Defender of the Year in 2015 and Forward of the Year in 2016, as well as being a member of the Rush National Select Team from 2013 to 2016 and the All-Rush Team/Top 11 from 2015 to 2017. She participated in the Interregional ODP Experience in 2016, as well as the HYSA All-Star Senior Game in 2016 and 2017.
Curran was a 4-year starter with James Campbell High School in Ewa Beach, Hawaii, serving as a captain of the team for her entire high school career. She was named to the OIA West Second Team in her freshman year, OIA West First Team as a sophomore, junior and senior. Chardonnay was also named to the All-Hawaii Second Team in her junior and senior years, and led her team to the OIA championships in 2014 and 2015, being named Impact Player of the 2015 OIA Championship.
College Career[edit]
Curran was a 5-year starter at Oregon, playing in the midfield and as a center back. She was named Team MVP and a Scholar Athlete in 2019. All 7 of her goals were either game-winning or game-tying goals, and she added 7 assists in her career. Chardonnay graduated from Oregon as the all-time leader in games played (92) and games started (84).
Professional Career[edit]
Chardonnay has been a midfielder for the Kansas City Current since being drafted by the team in the NWSL 2022 Draft.
National Team Career[edit]
Curran was called up to camp with the United States U-18 & U-19 teams in 2017 and 2018, including 2 starts in friendlies against the Switzerland U-19 squad. She also participated with the United States U-20 team's World Cup test run in France in 2018. In 2022, Chardonnay trained with the United States U-23 team in scrimmages with the USWNT during the senior team's preparation for the 2022 SheBelieves Cup.
