Charles Anderson (Art Therapist)

Charles Anderson is an American Art Therapist.[1][2] He worked at the Menninger Clinic for over 40 years and is currently employed at Stormont Vail in Topeka, Kansas as an art therapist.[3] He served as the founding chairperson of the American Art Therapy Association's Mosaic Committee from 1990-1994. The Mosaic Committee was founded on two principles; (a) serving as a platform for raising awareness on cultural competence and (b) fostering camaraderie and support among art therapists of color.[4] Charles also served as one of the first members of the American Art Therapy Association's Ad Hoc Committee to Investigate Encouraging Minority Groups to Enter and Study in the Field of Art Therapy.[5]
