Charles L. Glover (December 1842 – 1916) was a six-term Democratic mayor of Norwalk, Connecticut from 1897 to 1901, from 1902 to 1903, and also in 1905. He ran for mayor seven times, and was only beaten once, by George Buxton.[3] However he defeated Buxton a year later.[3]
In 1897, he defeated A. B. Hill.[3]
In 1898, he defeated Isaac Selleck.[3]
In 1899, he defeated A. B. Woodward, but the Republicans retained control of the Norwalk Common Council.[3][4]
In 1900, he defeated Harvey M. Kent.[3]
In 1902, he defeated incumbent mayor George Buxton.[3]
In 1905, he defeated Goold Hoyt.[3]
