Charlie P is a singer and MC from Southend, Essex, in England. He has been singing since the age of 5, starting out as a Motown/blues singer before moving into reggae music.
In 2011, he began collaborating with Scottish sound system collective Mungo's Hi Fi, working on the album Forward Ever.[1] He has gone on to collaborate with Mungo's Hi Fi on subsequent projects. [2] He has since worked with a number of other artists and producers including the Original Bass Foundation, a.k.a. O.B.F Soundsystem, on their 2018 album Ghetto Cycle.[3]
He has performed at numerous festivals, including Glastonbury and Boomtown.[4]
