Charmaine Yee, also known as Yee Kah Yan (Chinese: 余嘉甄), is a Singaporean radio presenter at Kiss 92FM. She also offers coaching in public speaking.

Education[edit]

Charmaine Yee went to CHIJ Saint Nicholas Girls' School from 1994 to 2003. She attended Trinity College, Melbourne for Foundation Studies in 2004,[1] then progressed to The University of Melbourne in 2005 to pursue studies in media and communications.[2] She did a summer program at University of California, Los Angeles, and was conferred her Bachelor of Arts in December 2007.[citation needed]

Career[edit]

Yee started hosting when she was 16.[2] Since 2008, she had hosted gigs and worked part-time in radio as well.[2]

In January 2011, Yee became a radio presenter with Radio 91.3.[2] In 2015, when Radio 91.3 rebranded to One FM 91.3, she joined Kiss 92FM as the presenter of The Afternoon Scoop.[2][3] She also worked as a television presenter at FOX Sports Asia. As a television host, she has interviewed celebrities including Tom Hanks, Dwayne Johnson, Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham, and Ed Sheeran.[citation needed]

In November 2023, Yee announced she will be leaving Kiss 92FM and her career as a radio presenter.[2]

She has provided voice work for commercials and campaigns from Mercedes-Benz, Singapore Tourism Board, Workforce Singapore, Twitter, Singapore Airlines, Adyen, and China Airlines.[citation needed] She has also worked as an event host and emcee, has worked for DocuSign[citation needed] and Tourism Australia,[4] and has supported Bone Marrow Donors Programme.[5]

Personal life[edit]

Yee married Colombia-born Camilo Paredes in February 2023 and both had a daughter in June.[6]
