She was discovered in an airport.[4][5] Carter is a rookie in the 2018 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.[6] She has modeled for Pink (Victoria's Secret).[7]
She has also modeled for Polo Ralph Lauren, Maybelline, Philipp Plein.[8][9] She has appeared in V and Galore magazine.[10][11]

Carter is biracial.[citation needed] She was a multi-sport athlete in her youth.[12]
