CheckYeti
CheckYeti is an online platform and mobile app to search, compare and book ski schools[1] and various summer outdoor activities like rafting and canyoning tours as well as paragliding. All ski school offers including ski lessons, snowboard courses and freeride tours can be booked via the CheckYeti app.[2][3][4]

The company was founded in 2014 by Stefan Pinggera and Georg Reich, both from Salzburg, in Austria and Switzerland. In the first years they focused on ski schools in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. During summer 2016 the range of products was extended - summer activities like rafting and canyoning tours in Austria, Germany and Switzerland were added.[5][6][7]
In spring 2017 CheckYeti appeared in an Austrian Startup TV-Show on “Puls 4” called “2 Minuten, 2 Millionen” and received an investment of 700,000 Euro.[8][9][10]
During winter 2017/2018 the company expanded to France. Since spring 2018 CheckYeti offers rafting and canyoning tours in France, Italy, Spain, Slovenia and Croatia. At the same time paragliding was added to the product range.[11] Since fall 2018, CheckYeti is partnering with the french company skiset, which is the largest ski and snowboard rental company in Europe.[12]
Currently CheckYeti employs 35 people, mainly at the headquarter in Vienna, Austria.[13]
