Chegodaevo is a settlement in Troitsky Administrative Okrug located on the banks of the Mocha river, 55 km away from Moscow.
History
In an 1859 audit by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Chegodaevo was reported to have 18 households (52 men and 70 women).[2] According to a 1899 report there were 110 people in Chegodaevo.[3]
In the 1926 Soviet census the center of the Chegodaevsky Village Council, located in the Klenovskaya volost of the Podolsk District, was 3.2 km from the Warsaw highway and 8.5 km from the Lviv platform on the Kursk railway. It had a population of 117 people (53 men and 64 women) with 22 farms. Out of these farms, 19 were peasant-owned, and a state farm was established in the village.[citation needed]
From 1929 to 1963 and again from 1965 to 2012, it was a settlement in the Podolsk district of the Moscow region.[4]
From 1963 to 1965, it was part of the Leninsky enlarged rural district in the Moscow region.[5]
In 2012, the village was incorporated into Moscow City from the Moscow Region.[6]
Economy
The main employer of the village is the Klenovo-Chegodaevo dairy factory, which owns agriculture fields to the north of the village.
