Chenbro Micom Co., Ltd. (simplified Chinese: 勤诚兴业股; traditional Chinese: 勤誠興業股份有限公司), doing business as Chenbro, is a Taiwanese manufacturer of items including computer hardware and components with its headquarters in New Taipei, Taiwan.[3][4]
History
The company was founded in 1983 by Maggi Chen, Frank Chen, and Leo Chan, and specializes in servers, computer cases, rack solutions, networking devices and server management software for data center, cloud computing, enterprise IT, big data, high performance computing (HPC), and embedded markets.[5]
The company opened its first manufacturing site in 1986 in Taoyuan, Taiwan, with two additional manufacturing sites opened in Chinese towns of Kunshan and Tangxia, Dongguan in 2006 and 2007, respectively.[6][7][8]
Products
Chenbro is mostly known for its barebone servers, but also sells rackmount and tower chassis, storage expansion kits and OEM/JDM Services marketed towards electronics manufacturing services industry.[9]
The company claims to have developed the first desktop and tower PC chassis with a removable motherboard tray.[10][11]
